After a good breakfast to fill up energy and cholesterol, I
take the road for Luxemburg! Stress,
depression or a suitcase of money to be cleared ? Nothing of all this, it is for
a good raison : the Spirit Bike Week.
Although
existing for three years I had not biker friends having
dragged their v-twin there I thus decided to take the road
to judge on detail and as the first impression is often
the best

|
A beautiful international concentration which I advise to all the bikers wishing to go out of
habits, perfectly organized in association with the HD store of France, Germany, Luxemburg and the HOG-chapter of Luxemburg.
|
|
Stands, American cars, rods and trucks, a outside stage which distils a rock blues live in the afternoon and a magnificent inside stage where the famous Pat Savage makes his show every year. Add an atmosphere good child, a quality site at the edge of the Moselle, a festive program and of numerous
rides... All the ingredients to spend the weekend in a pleasant way. Even when the rain comes to
waste the party ! |

Although
just a step from our borders, the grand Duchy of Luxemburg is not
known and is not a part of hits of travel guides. We cross it only
to fill up gasoline or cartridges (of cigarettes) !

Small
State of 2586 km2 and 384 000 inhabitants; it is limited
to the northwest by Belgium, in the East by Germany and
in southeast by France.
The majority of the population speak about the Luxemburger called Lėtzebuergesch (!!!). In fact, most of the Luxemburgers also speak
French, German and even English.
A beautiful
mess ! Very pleasant because you will always find somebody to whom to
speak.
All that to say that this
rally, ideally placed, is a good start to discover this
country.
